European Moose have fairly well-developed antlers, often with decent palms that can weigh between 6 to 15 kg.

How to Get There:

There are different areas we organize the hunting in :

Yaroslavl – you will fly to Moscow where you will be met by our team and assisted through customs. Then you will be transferred by van to the hunting area in Yaroslavl region – 400 km away from Moscow.

Kurgan – you will fly to Ekaterinburg where you will be met by our team and assisted through customs. Then you will be transferred by van to one of the hunting areas in Kurgan region – 250 – 350 km away from Ekaterinburg.

Hunting season :

From September 10 in Yaroslavl
From September 01 in Kurgan

Group size :

1-3 hunters in Yaroslavl
Up to 5 hunters in Kurgan

Hunting:

Each hunter is provided with two guides. Hunting is done on foot. Jeeps are used for transportation in the area. Hunt by calling in a mature bull moose is the most successful at this time. The hunt is also conducted in the darkness – forehead light is necessary.

Accommodation:

Comfortable cabins and lodges are used to accommodate hunters in these areas. Every camp has with an interpreter and a cook.

Weather:

During daylight hours the temperature is from +15 C to +20 C with lows of +5 C – +10 C. Rain is possible. Expect chilly mornings by the end of September.
