Snow sheep combo hunt in Magadan region – “Golden Heart of Russia”

Upon arrival to Magadan (Far East of Russia) everyone can see the big sign “Welcome to Kolyma – Golden Heart of Russia”. That was a starting point of a good friend and a devoted client of ProfiHunt, the world well-known professional mountain hunter – Jim Shockey.
The main goal was to get all 3 species of snow sheep: Okhotsk, Yakutia and Kolyma ones. And certainly the additional trophies such as East-Siberian brown bear are more than welcome! Subsequently Jim admitted that trip as the longest one in his experience. All 3 species of snow sheep as well as East Siberian brown bear were harvested within 46 days including travel days between hunting areas. The whole trip can be described in one proverb: A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
