The white Silence

Nunavut is a Canadian province, the area comparable to the size of Western Europe. It’s the Northern expanses glorified by Jack London, harsh land covered with snow and washed by the cold, unfriendly ocean.
The local people – Inuit – live here from time immemorial, their ancestors hunted whales and traded with the Vikings. All over the world it’s the one and only area where the trophy hunting on Polar bear (Ursus Maritimus) is permitted and arranged at a high level. The hunt is a challenge to real hunters to gain the reward – a great trophy of a polar bear – one of the largest terrestrial carnivorous mammals.
In early May of this year our client Alexander Egorov tried his chance on the Southampton island in the Northern corner of the Hudson Bay. Hunting wasn’t an easy task and the worthy trophy hadn’t been caught by the eyes. Alexander was waiting not loosing the temper and the hope.
One early morning the accompanying Eskimo hunter excitedly reported that a bear was on bait, but was about to finish his meal and to leave for the ice. Alexander hadn’t missed his chance: two shots from a distance of about 200 meters. And the trophy was harvested.
Our sincere congratulations!
