The largest Ibex in the world and different subspecies of Argali – Tian Shan, Hume and Marco Polo Argali – inhabit these mountains.
Hume Argali average size is 51 – 52 inches with occasional 60 inches trophy taken. The Ibex can be up to 60 inches in horn length. It is an unforgettable adventure to hunt at 12,000 feet on a horseback, surrounded by a beautiful alpine panorama. We strive to make your hunt safe and successful.

How to get there:

The most convenient and reliable way to get to Bishkek is by Turkish Airlines via Istanbul, Turkey. Our representative will meet you at the airport of arrival and assist you through the customs. We will do everything possible to expedite the customs procedure. You will be transferred by car to the hunting area. The transfers last from 4 to 10 hours depending on area.

Hunting season:

August 15 – November 30

Argali hunting:

Horses are used for most of Kyrgyzstan hunting trips in order to increase the success rate. Expect extensive horseback riding and considerable walking. Ride before you go on this hunt. Spike camp is set up with the specific goal of hunting a particular animal or area. Sheep are generally located in remote country at 12,000 feet. Once the trophy is located, you complete your stalk on foot. Physical condition is an important factor for the stalking part of the hunt. Long range shooting up to 450 yards is usual.

Accommodation:

Camps are located at 8,500 feet. They are traditional cabins with cots. They are warm, clean and comfortable with separate areas for dining, bathing and sleeping and have electrical generation. You will find good food and quality service. Please note that spike camps are used intensively.

Weather:

During daylight hours in October the temperature is from 45 to 57 F and at night 14 to 23 F. In November the temperature is from 5 to 14 F and during nighttime from – 4 to + 5 F. Hunters can expect hard frost in the mornings; also, wind and snow.
