Hunting in New Zealand: Tahr and Chamois

Our client Dmitry Makarov went on a hunting trip in New Zealand, one of the world’s most renowned destinations for mountain hunting.
Over three days, two trophies were taken: New Zealand chamois and Himalayan tahr. Both species inhabit remote areas of the South Island and are considered among the most sought-after mountain game species.
The hunt took place under changeable weather conditions, with cool mornings, wind, and scattered rain.
The diversity of natural landscapes and the striking scenery create a distinctive atmosphere, making hunting in New Zealand a truly memorable experience.
We congratulate Dmitry on a successful trip and excellent trophies!
