How to get there:
The logistic is through Dushanbe. We meet you in Dushanbe and our crew assists you through the customs, then you go by a minibus to Khorog for a rest (the trip is about 12 h) and then to the hunting area (about 4 h). This route to the hunting country is rather tiresome but you gradually adapt to high altitude during your travel.

Description:
A large argali weighing up to 300 pounds. The horn bases are more massive than a Marco Polo argali and form a tighter spiral with little or no flare, and usually less than full curl. The tips are typically broken or heavily broomed. The upper parts of the coat are grayish-brown, with the throat, chest, rump, under parts and inside of legs white. Hunting:
In the morning you get into your jeep. During the day you explore the upper edges of the mountains and examine the hillsides, feeding and resting areas through the field glasses. Once the trophy is located, you complete your stalk on foot. You hunt at 14,000 feet. Physical condition is very important for the stalking part of the hunt. A long range shooting up to 400-500 yards is usual.
Base Camps:
Camps are located at 12,000-13,500 feet. They are warm, clean and comfortable cabin with separate areas for dining, bathing and sleeping and has electrical generation. You will find good food and quality service. Every camp is equipped with a satellite-phone or radio station. Fly camps are being used intensively.
Weather:
Usually weather is favorable and rather predictable in this region during the hunting period. During daylight hours in November the temperature is 30-50 F and during nighttime it is 5 F-14 F. Windy conditions.
