Mid-Asian Ibex are found in healthy numbers across the region, consistently producing impressive trophies up to 55 inches. Alongside them, Siberian Roe Deer (not in all the areas) can be taken as an additional species, adding variety to the experience.
Unlike extremely high-altitude expeditions, hunting in Kazakhstan is more dynamic and accessible, while still offering a true mountain wilderness experience and strong trophy potential.

The most convenient route to Almaty is via Istanbul with Turkish Airlines. Upon arrival, our liaison will meet you at the airport and assist with customs procedures.
You will then be transferred by vehicle to the hunting area. Travel time ranges from 9 to 12 hours depending on the location.
July 15 – December 31
Mid-Asian Ibex hunting is a classic spot-and-stalk experience. Spike camps are used extensively to maximize success rates, and horses are an important advantage for accessing prime mountain terrain.
During the day the hunters scan upper ridges, slopes, and feeding areas using binoculars. It is common to observe multiple Ibex throughout the day.
This hunt requires preparation for long-range shooting, often exceeding 400 yards.
Camps are located at approximately 6.500 feet above sea level and consist of traditional hunting cabins. While basic and not offering modern comforts, they are clean, warm, and functional.
Each base camp includes hot showers, cook services and the services of an interpreter.
Weather is generally consistent from August through mid-September
● August: 80–90°F (27–32°C) daytime, 40–45°F (4–7°C) nighttime
● September: cooler temperatures with noticeable drops at night
● October: near freezing daytime temperatures, below freezing at night
