Hume argali in Kyrgyzstan
The mountains of Kyrgyzstan are home to several of the world’s most impressive Argali subspecies, including Tian Shan, Hume, and the legendary Marco Polo Argali.
Hume Argali is a smaller and more localized subspecies, characterized by shorter but thicker and more compact horns. While generally smaller in size, it is highly valued for its rarity and distinctive trophy appearance.

The most convenient and reliable route to Bishkek is via Istanbul with Turkish Airlines. Upon arrival, our representative will meet you at the airport and assist with customs procedures – we offer the VIP-service on arrival and on departure.
You will then be transferred by vehicle to the hunting area. Transfers take approximately 8 to 12 hours depending on the region.
August 15 – November 30
Horseback is the primary method of transportation on most hunts in Kyrgyzstan, significantly improving access to remote terrain and increasing success rates.
Expect long days in the mountains with extensive horseback riding and additional hiking. Basic riding experience is strongly recommended.
Spike camps are established in strategic areas depending on animal movement and hunting objectives. Argali are typically found in extremely remote terrain at elevations around 12.000 feet.
Once a trophy is located, the final approach is completed on foot. Good physical condition is essential for successful stalking. Long-range shots up to 450 yards are common.
Base camps are located at approximately 8.500 feet and consist of traditional cabins with cots.
While basic and not offering modern comforts, they are clean, warm, and functional with generator-powered electricity.
Guests can expect good food and reliable service. Spike camps are used frequently and provide more basic but functional conditions for remote hunting.
