Nepal is characterized by mystic peaks, exotic hills, scenic valleys, secluded forests, and other different forms of untouched nature. These overwhelming natural assets make Nepal an ideal destination for adventure tourism including the recently popular adventure of wildlife hunting.

Nepal boasts a hunting reserve of its own kind where certain species of wild animals are allowed to be hunted. Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve, located not very far from the capital Kathmandu, is a wildlife reserve on the footsteps of the Himalayas with specified hunting blocks, seven to be exact. The area and the animals involved in the adventure make hunting in Nepal the ultimate experience for hunting enthusiasts.

HOW TO GET THERE

There are several airlines operating flights to Kathmandu but the most reliable and convenient option is Turkish Airlines through Istanbul. Upon arrival to Kathmandu you will be met and assisted through the customs by our representatives who will take you to hotel for overnight.
PLEASE NOTE: rifle and license formalities upon arrival to Kathmandu take 2 days. While expediting all the paperwork we will take you on a sightseeing tour in Kathmandu.

HUNTING SEASON

March – April & October – November.
There is thick snow coverage in March and late November. During these gaps snowfalls occur often.

HUNTING

Hunting in Nepal takes place in really harsh conditions, at an altitude of 4,000 to 5,000 meters at low temperatures and abundant precipitation. For hunting it is necessary to use the whole day, it is completely usual when hunters may walk and climb 8 — 10 hours a day in search of a worthy trophy

ACCOMMODATION

In the Himalayas as nowhere else one can understand the meaning of the word «Spartan conditions, single tent, sleeping bag, that’s all affordable comfort.
