Lynx in Russia
The Irkutsk Region stands out as one of the finest destinations in Russia for Lynx hunting. It is also an excellent area for our exclusive “Route Hunt”, offering hunters the opportunity to pursue several exciting species during a single expedition, including Lynx, Musk Deer and Wolverine.
To ensure the highest possible success rate, we hunt with experienced local guides and specially trained hounds that track and tree the Lynx. Usually, horses are used to access the far flung corners of the area.

Lynx hunting is conducted by tracking fresh signs in the snow with a hunting pack. Once the dogs locate and tree the animal, hunters carefully approach for the final shot. Depending on the hunting area, horses may be used to reach remote locations and cover larger distances. This traditional hunting method offers an exciting and a successful experience in the Siberian wilderness.
Upon arrival in Moscow, you will be met by our representative and assisted with all customs formalities. You will then take a domestic flight to Irkutsk, where our local team will meet you and transfer you to the hunting area. The drive takes approximately 6 hours in a 4X4 vehicle.

A wooden house equipped with all essential facilities. As well there is a traditional Russian sauna nearby. Hunters enjoy hearty home-style Russian cuisine throughout their stay.
The hunting season begins when a consistent snow cover sets in to follow fresh tracks.
Moderate snow conditions are ideal, as they enable the hounds to work efficiently while the Lynx moves effortlessly across the surface. Average temperatures range from –15°C to –40°C.
